A Ministry to Children living in Crisis in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Vera Zhuravleva, Russian Director of Project Hope
A Letter of Thanks!
Dear Christian Life Missions,
We appreciate you and Christian Life Missions and want God's best for you in every way. We are rejoicing that Jesus is our Lord and Savior. He and He alone is the only one through whom we can have Salvation and forgiveness for our sins. It is through Him that we can have eternal life in Heaven where there will be no more suffering, pain, or death. Our hope and future is in Him whom we love and serve. Praise His Holy Name!!
It was through Him this ministry began, to children living in crisis in St. Petersburg, Russia. Karl Marx started Communism in St. Petersburg promising it would continue for years and be a big help to the people. It was from there that he also made the law that no child under 18 years of age could be taught the Word of God. For many years there was a severe penalty for those who were caught declaring the Word of God to children. Atheism was taught and Christianity was rejected. However God continued to work and now there is some freedom to teach the Word of God, though in many Russian villages it is still against the law. We are thankful that our Ministry has freedom to teach children about Jesus.
God and God alone has changed things and His precious Word is being taught to children in that city. Esther and I have also had many opportunities to give forth the Word and we have seen God bless and children and young people have come to know Him and have had changed lives.
The staff of Project Hope / Children’s Ark are teaching the Word daily to children that have lived in horrible conditions. Your giving and prayers have enabled them to do this for which we are very thankful. God’s Word is powerful and when we let Him use it to change lives wonderful things happen.
The picture above is of the children and youth of Project Hope / Children’s Ark plus the staff and some of the board of directors. Note that many of the children that were very small when they came to this ministry are now grown teenagers. The children and youth look healthy and are dressed nicely in this picture but most of them were sickly and in rags when they came to the center. All have been taught the Word of God and most have accepted Christ as their Savior.
Your support has helped to make this possible and Esther and I speak for ourselves and for the staff and board of Project Hope / Children’s Ark as we say a very big “Thank You and May God richly bless you”.
